ISM University of Management and Economics Kaunas Lithuania is the predecessor of Business Training Centre, a well-known executive training institution. It was founded in 1995 by The Norwegian School of Management BI and Kaunas University of Technology, as the first privately owned institution of management education in Lithuania. ISM has 2 research departments: Department of Intellectual Capital and Business Competence and Department of Organisational Economics and Strategy. Today it has campuses in Vilnius and Kaunas and more than 1.700 enrolled students. It also has International Quality Accreditation (IQA) and European Credit Transfer Label (ECTS label). University has established programs for students exchange with universities in more than 20 different countries. ISM is actively involved and closely collaborates with a number of international associations such as CEEMAN, Baltic Sea Region University Network, EFMD, ETF, EBEN, PMA, European Association for International Education (EAIE). ISM is member of the Thematic Network in University Continuing Education and European University Lifelong Learning Network. The project coordinator is Ms Pundziene Asta.
